Here, you'll be privy to all the festival's intricate details. It's the perfect opportunity to either join an existing team or put together your very own frightful crew and secure your spot in the festival by registering.
Then, the thrilling filmmaking journey begins, granting you approximately three weeks, encompassing three full weekends, to craft your bone-chilling 5-minute horror masterpiece!
Participating guarantees you a plunge into the eerie depths of the Halloween season. You'll have a blast, create something truly exceptional and exhilarating, forge new friendships, and craft memories that will haunt you forever.
If, for some spine-tingling reason, you can't attend the kick-off party, but still crave a piece of the action, fret not!

On the ominous night of October 4th, as the clock struck 7 p.m., souls were beckoned by the eerie call to gather at the foreboding Creative Veins Studio in Jacksonville’s sinister San Marco area.
In the midst of this dark and spectacular kick-off party, they were initiated into the chilling secrets of this nightmarish fest and conjured their filmmaking teams.
Then, as shadows danced, they blindly drew their fates from the four cauldrons of destiny, unveiling their team’s macabre film requirements (Conflict, Weapon, Sub-Genre, and Location)!
With only three harrowing weeks granted, they must now craft a 5-minute horror opus to appease the sinister forces, all in preparation for the ominous public screening on Saturday, October 28th, at the witching hour of 7:00 p.m.! Secure your tickets before they vanish into the darkness! Click here!
The participation fee for joining a film team in any capacity (actor, writer, camera person, editor, assistant, etc.) is $13.13 per person. You can easily include more team members at any point before the film submission deadline. Just have them complete the payment and registration process below!
Letโs make a horror film!!! Youโll have just shy of three weeks (including three whole weekends) to complete your 5-minute film. All films must include the requirements drawn from the 4 cauldrons of fate during the kick-off!

All films are due by this date and time. It’s possible that we’ll accept a late submission, however, late submissions will be screened only and not eligible for every single award. Donโt be a zombie; get that film turned in on time so you can take home some terrifyingly cool awards, cash and prizes!
